The iPhone 16 series and Apple Watch Series 10 are officially here, as well as Apple's latest mobile software release -- iOS 18. But if you didn't decide to upgrade your tech, you might be left wondering whether the iPhone you're still chugging along with supports the new software.

One is the next-gen update and the other, iOS 17.7, is for those who want to keep their iPhones safe but would rather wait to roll out the first version of a new release.

Locked apps will now be unlocked, and hidden apps will be removed from the Hidden folder. Unhiding apps doesn't put them back on your home screen. To re-add an app to your home screen, go to your App Library, long press on the app and tap Add to Home Screen.
